Our Driver specific app, MST Go enabled the driver carry out a number of tasks quickly and easily from their handset.
MST Go Driver App
MST Go is a companion app for MS Track Web and removes the need for paper based vehicle walk around check lists. It will help you to instantly identify vehicle defects, help safeguard your drivers and other road users and offset the cost of expensive repairs, all the while adhering to the regulations set down by the RSA, HSA and An Garda Siochana. Our Walk Around Check List App is available as a free value add to all of our customers.
The app has a number of features which enables the driver to carry out tasks quickly and easily from their handset:

- Driver ID
- 2-way messaging with the office
- Timekeeping
- Panic button
- Smartphone handset tracking
- Customised form completion
MST Go is managed from the Driver Tab on MS Track Web. Profiles are created with usernames and passwords for each individual user.
Permissions are set within the driver’s profile dictating which of the above functionality they can access via the app.
The app is free to download on Google Play Store and on the IOS app store
Once logged in, each user can choose the company vehicle they are driving and fill out the corresponding Vehicle Walkaround Check form. Mobil I can offer a standard template or customised forms for these checks as they are required.
By choosing the vehicle they are driving the system automatically assigns the driver to this vehicle on MS Track Web and thus acts as a Driver ID system also.
Aside from the benefit of paperless Vehicle Inspections, the app also allows for 2-way ‘WhatsApp Style’ messaging. End users of MS Track Web can easily send out instructions, web links including Google map links and routes to drivers on the road. In terms of time-keeping there is a facility to send shift times via the app.
The driver can send the following updates:
- Start Shift
- Start Driving
- Start Break
- Finish Driving
- Finish Break
- Finish Shift
Each record is sent back into the driver’s history on MS Track Web including additional data such as location (using GPS location from the handset), date and time.
It is also possible to instruct the app to send a positional update every 10 minutes should a customer wish to view regular updates on the phone’s movements.
There are two ‘Lone Worker’ benefits to the App in addition to tracking the location. It is possible to send a panic alarm message which can be forwarded to multiple recipients via email, on screen pop upon MS Track and push notification to MST Mobile.
A secondary option is to push the Emergency button which commences a 60 second recording using the phones microphone. After 60 seconds this data is uploaded to MS Track Web and available to be streamed.
